About Us

The City of Jerome Fire Department is an all-hazards combination fire department with 14 full-time and 10 part-time men and women committed to your safety.

We operate out of two fire station that are staffed around the clock and provide services to a population of just over 12,000 residents. The City of Jerome Fire Department covers a primary response area of 5.6 square miles, which includes residential, commercial, retail, agriculture, and industrial. The fire department responds to an average of 1,100 incidents per year.

To provide the most cost effective and efficient protection possible against the grave effects of fire, disaster, and medical emergency to the community and its citizens through education, mitigation, preparedness, response, and enforcement in an effort to safeguard the history, culture, property and values of everyone within the City of Jerome.
